Press Release Taza de Café to celebrate one year anniversary: Party on Cinco de Mayo, 2006 Latina owned café launches private label coffee and green chili sauce in honor of its first year of success. Denver CO, March 21, 2006: Rosemary Gonzales, owner of Taza de Café welcomes all in the celebration of the one year anniversary of her North Denver Coffee shop. Taza de Café opened on Cinco de Mayo 2005 with great anticipation and applause. Since opening day the business has grown steadily into a favorite gathering place for neighbors, friends and family alike. Rosemary contributes much of her success to the enormous support and patronage everyone has shown in the past year. The café prides itself on its eclectic offerings of traditional coffee shop favorites as well as new recipes that have helped put it on the map. Such items are the Horcha-tté, a Horchata-latte, which blends Horchata and espresso into a sweet and creamy coffee treat. Another customer favorite is the Abuelita chocolate mocha known as the Mexican Mocha. These drinks and more is what has made the café a part of its neighbors lives. Known to locals as “Taza”, the café is also the only place in Denver one can get a true cappuccino and a bowl of menudo on Sunday mornings, all in one sitting. Since opening its doors Taza de Café has made it a point to connect and get involved with local community organizations. Supporting groups such as The Caesar Chavez Peace and Justice Committee, Taza has played a role in naming a beautiful neighborhood park in honor of the Civil Rights hero. Just as important are the loyal customers who have made Taza a part of their daily morning rituals. By adding personal touches such as knowing customers’ names and drink preferences, Taza is able to provide an extra level of service and comfort not often found in “corporate coffee”. As a thank you
