Taza de Café to host auction and party for Katrina
benefit: Silent auction starts September 17, 2005
North Denver Coffee shop hosts silent art auction to
benefit Louisiana Family devastated by Hurricane.
Denver, CO, September 14,
2005: In response to the recent tragedies and devastation caused by
hurricane Katrina to the people of the Gulf coast, Taza de Café and Denver
Artist Rebecca Rozales are collaborating to help out a family of New
Orleans, Louisiana who have recently lost everything in the wake of Americas
greatest natural disaster
Starting September 17, 2005, Taza de Café
will be hosting a silent auction of a limited edition print completed by
Rozales entitled “Young Dancer”. To place a bid, participants in the
auction are asked to come into Taza de Café to register and place their
bids. Bidding will end Friday, September 30th at which time a
party will be held in honor of this event and the winning bidder will be
presented with the print by Rosales. Food and drink will be served at the
reception from 6-10:00 p.m.
