The Scenic Route is a remarkable new CD featuring the vocal talents of Erienne Romaine, a precocious 14 year old musician from Denver, CO. The CD features both jazz standards and original compositions by Erienne, backed by world-class jazz musicians. There are cuts from a demo recording she did, as well as a live radio broadcast and a live studio recording. The pure spirit and honest expression in Erienne's voice is both touching and refreshing. Erienne recently had a brain hemorrhage, and was diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation in her brain. This condition requires a series of interventional radiology procedures, as well as brain surgery. Erienne's friends and family have compiled the recordings that she did during the last year and produced this CD in order to raise funds for her medical care. Your support is so appreciated!
